I love the wonderful terminology of American music in the 1940’s. Crooner, bobby soxers, doo-wop, hep cat, zoot suit, rag cutter, jitterbug, be-bop, boogie-woogie, hepcat, juke joint, swooner, moldy fig, killer-diller.
